With health-care reform on the horizon, administrators for HealthPark Hospital and St. Joseph’s Mercy Health System have been talking about a possible future joint business venture.

HealthPark CEO Ralph Beaty, who has held his position for one month, said the two medical facilities are in the “discussion stages,” but nothing formal has been proposed by either entity.
