HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE – With the $4-per-month assessment increase taking effect Jan. 1, 2010, the Hot Springs Village Board of Directors reviewed some final revised 2010 budget numbers at its Wednesday workshop session.

“I’m very pleased at the assessment increase results. I want to thank all of the people in the Village who worked hard to get it through. Now the burden falls on us to manage it wisely,” Board President Mike Misch said.

With the additional assessment revenue, the 2010 budget has been revised from $29.011 million to $31.718 million. The staff has estimated ...
