Col. Lynn Davis, left, was on hand Friday at the American Art Gallery during Hot Springs Gallery Walk to personalize copies of his book, “They Said It Couldn’t Be Done: Closing Down the Biggest Illegal Casino Operation in America.” Davis was appointed head of the Arkansas State Police for 120 days in 1967 to take on this task in Hot Springs. Willie Gilbert, gallery owner, joined the author to greet participants.
