Fundraiser brings in donors for ASMSA

Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts officials said they are “extremely well pleased” at the turnout of Sunday night’s inaugural fundraising gala, the proceeds of which will be used in the school’s planned campus expansion.

Susan Lancaster, ASMSA director of Institutional Advancement, said about 350 people attended the event at the Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa. She said the event raised “somewhere between $32,000 and $35,000” from ticket sales and a silent auction.
