The injury bug that has bitten Lakeside baseball since before the start of the high-school season has struck again, this time sidelining University of Arkansas signee Ben Crumpton for the rest of the American Legion season.

Lakeside Baseball Association manager Don Slaton said Thursday Crumpton has either a strained or partially torn patella (knee) ligament, and has been advised by his doctor to not play for at least four weeks.
