SHERIDAN – Little Rock Continental Express erupted for 14 runs in the first three innings en route to a 16-6 win over Lakeside on Friday in the opening game of the American Legion Junior Zone 4 Tournament.

Continental Express, the defending champion, scored six runs in the top of the first, added two in the second and six more in the third to build a 14-5 lead. Lakeside scored two in the first on Logan DeRosier’s triple and three in the second.
