Logan DeRosier pitched out of jams in the last three innings, and Lakeside made the most of two hits in a 4-3 American Legion Class AA win over visting Benton on Monday night.

DeRosier, getting the save for starter Zach Ritter, escaped a bases-loaded, one-out jam in the fifth after relieving Logan Karsten. He gave up runs in the sixth and seventh innings, the latter unearned, but stranded two runners both innings.

Lakeside was outhit 10-2, but scored twice in the first without getting a hit, cashing in three walks and two hit batters by Benton starter Blake Berry. Ritte...
