CMS hires veteran OBU assistant as girls coach

If there’s ever a good time to look for a new coach, this may have been it for Cutter Morning Star.

CMS, benefiting from large-scale athletic department cutbacks at Ouachita Baptist University, found a replacement for former senior and junior girls basketball coach Lee Scroggins in 10-year Lady Tiger assistant Jason Davis. The hiring of Davis was approved Tuesday night by the CMS school board.
