During the past couple of months I’ve been fortunate enough to capture photos of reptiles, amphibians and juvenile animals native to Arkansas. But as dry, hot weather settled over the state, most animals found shelter from the intense heat fairly early in the mornings and refused to stir during a good part of the day.
