Walker’s complete game sends Wolves past Troy

Lake Hamilton’s baseball team continued its offensive streak in the Class AA Zone 4 tournament, defeating Hot Springs 8-4 Friday at Lakeside.

The Wolves face Monticello, an 11-0 winner against South Clark County/Gurdon, at 3 p.m. today. Jared Webb will pitch for Lake Hamilton, said coach Terry Fortner. 

Despite scattering 11 hits, winning pitcher Chris Walker gave Lake Hamilton’s bullpen a day off, allowing four runs (two earned) in seven innings. He struck out four and walked two in 102 pitches.
