Reyes’ hurls HSV past Monticello

Hot Springs Village’s magical run in the American Legion Class AA Zone 4 tournament continues.

Mark Reyes pitched a complete game three-hitter to lead the Knights to a 4-3 victory over Monticello Sunday night at Lakeside. With the victory, Hot Springs Village faces South Clark County/Gurdon at 7 p.m. today. Monticello plays Lake Hamilton at 4 p.m. today in an elimination game.

The Jessieville hurler struck out 10 and walked four in a masterful performance, awing Hot Springs Village coach Ronnie Stinson.
