A one-time frontrunner, Jonesboro came off the pace to win the Grade II $300,000 Prairie Meadows Cornhusker Handicap by 1 3/4 lengths June 27 in Iowa. That followed a head second to Its a Bird in the Grade III $400,000 Lone Star Park Handicap May 25 and a half-length victory in the $300,000 Texas Mile April 25.
