SHERIDAN – Call them the Cardiac Knights.

Hot Springs Village scored nine runs in the ninth inning Friday to stun Stuttgart 14-5 in the opening game of the American Legion Class AA tournament at Sheridan’s Oliver Williams Field. The Knights (18-16), Zone 4’s No. 2 seed from the Lakeside bracket, will play Monticello or Pine Bluff at 5 p.m. today, Stuttgart (6-14) to face the loser in an elimination game at noon.
