SHERIDAN – Harrison eliminated the slow-starting Hot Springs Village Knights from the Class AA American Legion baseball tournament with a 4-3 victory Sunday.

Ryan Herron pitched a complete game for the Knights, allowing two earned runs, but was betrayed defensively by three errors.

Herron had two hits and Kyle Heller an RBI double for the Knights, blanked through four innings.

“We waited until the fifth and sixth innings to score one and two runs,” coach Ronnie Stinson said. “We waited too long, and they beat us.”
