LITTLE ROCK — The girls’ overall state high-school golf tournament lasted two holes too long for Grier Bennett.
The Jessieville junior bogeyed No. 17 and made a 10 on the par-5, 430-yard 18th at Pleasant Valley Country Club on Wednesday. One stroke ahead after 16 holes, Bennett fell to fifth place with an 84.
