The Pocket Community Theatre presents "Chicago"

October 8, 2019 1:08 p.m.

For three consecutive weekends, the Pocket Community Theatre gave performances of the classic musical “Chicago” to sellout crowds. Under the direction of Mary Hill, the cast of around 22 people spent about six months rehearsing. The show featured a live musical ensemble led by Kristen La Madrid and extensive original choreography by Gracie Littlejohn Barlow. All of the money collected from tickets sales from their “best seats in the house” drawing done before the show on opening night went directly to Project HOPE Food Bank and was matched equally by local philanthropist Dorothy Morris. - Photos by Grace Brown of The Sentinel-Record.
