Garland County trash bills can now be paid online, County Tax Collector Rebecca Dodd-Talbert said Thursday.
The county's collaboration with Information Network of Arkansas, the public-private partnership behind the online payment system for vehicle tags and Garland County personal and real estate taxes, allows the county's more than 22,000 sanitation customers to pay their trash bills at http://www.ark.org/ina_invoice/default.aspx/garlandcountysanitation.
Dodd-Talbert said a convenience fee is assessed for online payments, with the amount based on the customer's balance. Account numbers are also required. They are printed on the bills the county sends out quarterly or can also be obtained by calling the tax collector's office at 622-3710.
