Mountain Valley Armory adds certified gunsmith

Tanya and Jason Spavins, owners of Mountain Valley Armory, are announced that Andrew Clifford, certified gunsmith, has joined the team.

Clifford is a graduate of Pine Technical College in Pine City, Minn. Before joining Mountain Valley Armory, he interned for J.P. Enterprises and worked at Coonan Inc. He performs full-service gunsmithing, custom builds, scope mounting and bore sighting, as well as building custom and competition grade AR rifles.

Dental hygienist joins

Harrison Dentistry staff

Dr. Michael Harrison, 122 Corporate Terrace, announces that Kaitlyn Gay, a registered dental hygienist, has joined Harrison Dentistry.

Gay was born and raised in Hot Springs. After attending Lakeside High School, she began her studies at the University of Arkansas where she met her husband, Jordan Gay. She graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2016.

Gay is certified in CPR, administering local anesthesia and nitrous. Her research paper, Implant Maintenance, was published in the Arkansas Dental Health Association in December 2016. She volunteers with Arkansas Mission of Mercy to give back to her community. "She loves working as a dental hygienist because she has an opportunity each day to help people with their oral health," states the release. Aside from working, Gay enjoys playing tennis and golf with friends and family. She and her husband welcomed their son, Reese, in August of this year.
