NPTC students present at state Capitol

LITTLE ROCK -- National Park Technology Center advertising and graphic design students were invited to attend the inaugural Career and Technical Education Showcase at the Arkansas state Capitol in early February.

Career Centers from around the state were asked to select one program to demonstrate the important work being completed in high school career centers in Arkansas.

Rayshaun McNary and Sydney Crawford from Lakeside High School, along with Caleb Holstine from Hot Springs High School, represented the advertising and graphic design program along with Advertising and Graphic Design instructors Jennifer Seward and Glenda Davis.

"It was a wonderful opportunity for these students to highlight their talents and explain the importance of career and technical education to our state legislators," said Seward.
