Every event in Hot Springs sponsored by a nonprofit organization depends on volunteers. They are often the "heartbeat" that makes for a successful experience. The Hot Springs Jazz Society, founded in 1992, is no exception.
Every year since October 1992, the Jazz Society has presented a free JazzFest to this community. The 2018 JazzFest, Aug. 30-Sept. 2, was well organized by Executive Director Gretchen Taylor and her volunteer staff of over 26 capable people.
Many of these same volunteers also help the Society with their only fundraiser, the Mardi Gras Gala scheduled March 2 in 2019. We appreciate and thank the following dedicated volunteers for their service: Ann Becker, Anne Fulbright, Donna Mann, Ed Pace, Isabel Taylor, Jim McCafferty, Jodi Tooke, John McFerrin, Jordan Erickson, Judy Christa, Kim Porter, Kimberly Hillestad, Marci Crites, Marion Sowka, Marvin Hayega, Mary Kay Miller, Merlie Watson, Michael Hood, Michael Sowka, Phoebe Trussell, Rowan Trussell, Roxanne Butterfield, Sam Tooke, Susan McFerrin, Valerie Tobin, Vicki Crisp, and Will Bridges.
Anyone wishing to volunteer and help with events may call Ms. Taylor at 501-627-2425.
