In September, Kroger on Airport Road had a dry cereal drive for the youth we serve at Ouachita Children's Center. Customers were encouraged throughout the month to purchase cereal when they shopped and drop them into the designated donation box. OCC was overwhelmed with the wonderful response! We received hundreds of boxes of cereal, which we use not only in our emergency shelter for youth in crisis but in our community outreach programs as well. We are so grateful to Kroger's fantastic employee, Shanna Warf, who organized this cereal drive for our kids! Shanna, Kroger employees, and our caring community came together to not only feed our youths, but in doing so, have made the world a better place. Thank you Airport Road Kroger and our compassionate community of friends for making a difference in the lives of youth who face challenging circumstances! You have shown them that there are good people doing good things every day and for that, we have been blessed.
