Virginia Sue Holcomb Reh, 80, Hot Springs, Ark., went home to be with the Lord Monday, Oct. 8, 2018.

Mrs. Reh loved the fine arts, poetry, history and literature, and once turned down a classical music scholarship and to sing opera with Tanglewood in New England, in order to be a homemaker. For years she sang with the Arkansas Chorale Society in the annual Handel's "Messiah" production at Robinson Auditorium in Little Rock.

Survived by daughters Mary Anne Gunter and Marcie Hale, sons Donnie Holcomb and David Holcomb, brother William Clark, along with several grandchildren.

Getting to fulfill a lifelong dream of seeing the ocean for the first and only time in 2007, her ashes will be scattered at sea. The family requests that any memorials anyone would like to make, however small the amount, be donated to a food bank or ministry for the homeless in her memory.

Arrangements by Regency Funeral Home. Sign the guestbook at http://regencyfuneralhome.com.
