FOUNTAIN LAKE -- As a special feature of the Artists' Workshop Gallery's November-December offerings, the gallery is teaming up with the Fountain Lake High School Art Department in a new outreach program.

Under the guidance of art instructor Megan Williams, selected art students will be given the opportunity to hang their art on a panel at the downtown gallery for two months.

"We were able to offer these young art students an exceptional experience -- the chance to present their art in a professional setting, just like our member artists," Artists' Workshop Gallery member Pati Trippel said in a news release.

All of the exhibited works will be on display and the selection will rotate in December.

"This is the perfect hands-on that art students need to broaden their real-life experiences," Williams said in the release.

The students selected for display in November and December are Lanee Dixon, Zakary Butler, Rylee Rejcek, Zoe Lockridge, Chloe Hackney, Carly Landes, Kennedy Owen, Ashley Ham, Mara Willis, Brianna Paris and Destinee Hogeland.

Selections from Fountain Lake High School Art Department will be on display at the Artists' Workshop Gallery in November and December. Their work will be featured at the First Friday Gallery Walk on Nov. 2 from 5-9 p.m. The gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, noon-5 p.m.
