Lakeside Primary and Intermediate schools were recently given building and blending boards for their classrooms thanks to the Brian Charles and the woodwork class at National Park Technology Center. The boards will help teachers support students in reading instruction. The college made 50 blending board stands, allowing every kindergarten through third-grade literacy teacher and some support staff to display their materials during instruction.
