Brooke Hartsfield helps Mid-America Science Museum's director of marketing, Jim Miller, add rubber bands Saturday to a 300-pound ball that will be used to smash a car and other objects next weekend at the museum. Saturday was the final chance to add to the ball before its 50-foot drop onto a car at the 2019 Summer Science Smashat 3 p.m. Aug. 24.
