Village People set to perform at Magic Springs Aug. 31

The Village People will help close out the summer at Magic Springs Theme and Water Park's Timberwood Amphitheater on Aug. 31.

"We've been eagerly anticipating this concert all season long," Jack Bateman, general manager at the park, said in a news release on Tuesday. "The Village People is sure to be an experience you won't want to miss."

The Village People is "one of the most iconic music groups in the world," known for their onstage costumes and catchy songs including "Y.M.C.A.," "Macho Man," "In the Navy," and "Can't Stop the Music."

Venue gates open at 6 p.m. and local favorite The Big Dam Horns will perform at 7 p.m. Taking its name from Little Rock's Big Dam Bridge, The Big Dam Horns are known for a horn-infused sound with a mix of jazz, blues, and rock 'n' roll.

The Village People will perform starting at 8 p.m. Reserved seating is available now. Concerts are included with a one-day park admission or a season pass. Regular daily admission to Magic Springs is $59.99 for adults, and $39.99 for children and seniors. Season passes are $79.99. Prices do not include tax.

Magic Screams will run Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 28 to Nov. 3 and will include haunted attractions, a family movie series, kid-size frights, live shows and contests.
