Ice on Ice, an annual holiday fundraiser, gets underway at 6:30 p.m. today at the Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa.
A portion of the proceeds from each ticket purchased to Ice on Ice will go to Project HOPE Food Bank to help serve its mission of providing healthy and affordable food to feeding programs and food pantries in west central Arkansas, according to the event's sponsor, The Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce.
To mark its 12th anniversary, Lauray's The Diamond Center will be giving away five half-carat diamonds this year. Traditionally, only four diamonds are given away, frozen inside ice cubes that go in a signature drink at the event.
