Herman Walters, 85, of Hot Springs passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019. He was born April 24, 1933 to the late Maggie McCoy Walters and Samuel Walters in Hot Springs.
Herman was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church and retired as manager with Borden Milk Company after 41 years. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Bette Walters; one daughter, Marla Gaye Walters; one stepson, James "Eddie" Rowe; one brother, Hubert Walters and one sister, Pauline Walters Smith.
Survivors include his daughters, Dana (Eddy) Robertson, Diane (Jeff) Lowder and Suzanne (Dale) Vaughn; one brother, Norman (Phyllis) Walters; sister-in-law, Joyce Walters; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Wanda Miller.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Monday Feb.11 with service to follow at 11 at Hot Springs Funeral Home with Bro. John Graves officiating. Burial will follow inMemorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Zach Robertson, Quinton Lowder, Kenny Walters, Benny Walters, Brad Calhoun and Carter Calhoun.
Honorary pallbearers are the ICU nurses and staff at National Park Medical Center.
