Harper promoted to senior VP

Community First Trust recently announced the promotion of Cindy Harper to the position of senior vice president of Trust Administration, according to a news release.

Harper has served as a personal trust officer for Community First Trust's Hot Springs Village Branch since 2007.

William Kerst, president and CEO of Community First Trust, cited Harper's commitment to making the lives of their customers better, along with her outstanding skills and her efforts to improve processes within the company, as instrumental in her recognition and promotion.

In 2017, Harper also earned the designation of certified trust and financial adviser from the Institute of Certified Bankers, a subsidiary of the American Bankers Association. She has over 33 years of experience in the financial industry and is licensed with the Arkansas State Department of Insurance.

Prior to joining CFT, she worked for a major investments and securities firm in Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village. Harper is a native of Garland County and attended Fountain Lake High School, where she graduated as her class valedictorian. She attended Henderson State University before transferring and graduating cum laude from John Brown University with a bachelor's degree in Organizational Management.

Harper is located in the Hot Springs Village office of Community First Trust and serves clients throughout the state. She said she enjoys working with individuals and families on all aspects of estate planning, management, and settlement.
