B&F Engineering Inc., Garland County's project manager, said the Danville Road low-water bridge near the Pitchercane Road intersection will be closed for construction Wednesday through March 24.
Traffic north of the bridge wanting to access Highway 5 can turn west onto Pitchercane Road then south onto Hamilton Dairy Road. Highway 5 traffic wanting to access a location north of the bridge can turn onto Hamilton Dairy then east onto Pitchercane.
The bridge will be replaced during the 60-day closure as part of a $662,733 contract the county awarded Thomco Inc. for Danville Road bridge improvements.
