Arkansas Blood Institute will conduct blood drives at the following times and locations this week:
• Today -- 9-11:30 a.m., Bloodmobile at Hot Springs Baptist Church, 144 Weston Road; 1:30-4 p.m., Bloodmobile at Community of Christ Church, 1590 Airport Road.
• Wednesday -- 12:15-5 p.m., Gurdon Elementary School gym, 401 N. 10th.
All donors will receive a long-sleeved holiday "Blue Truck" shirt and an admission ticket to the Museum of Discovery in Little Rock, Donor Reward Points, a blood-type card and refreshments.
Donors must be at least 16 years old. To schedule a donation, visit http://www.arkbi.org and click on "Find A Drive" or call Bob Woodall at 501-282-6072. Walk-ins are always welcome.
Donors may also donate whole blood, double red cells, platelets or plasma at the Donor Center, 149 Section Line Road, Suite G, by calling 501-624-0666. All donations support hospitals in Arkansas and donations can be credited to a patient in any hospital.
