The Bridge House of Hot Springs will start a 10-week beginner duplicate bridge class on Monday, Feb. 4, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at 300 W. St. Louis St.

PACA holds first meeting of 2019 in new location
Park Avenue Community Association will begin 2019 in its new meeting location at the Garland County Pre-K School in the 200 block of Tom Ellsworth Drive, the former location of Park Magnet School.
There is plenty of parking at the top of hill; take the left side of the entrance road to the top of the hill, and turn right into the parking lot.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Monday. The agenda includes progress reports of current projects, city and county updates, membership drive and dues for 2019, Northwoods, and the David F. Watkins Memorial Park.
Anyone interested in running in the officer elections, which are held in February, is welcome to attend. There will also be an open discussion on members' topics of interest. The public is welcome. Light snacks will be served.
Democratic Women's Club to hold annual party
The VCK Democratic Women's Club will hold its annual Kick-Off Party from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Huntleigh Woods Clubhouse, 31 Huntleigh Drive.
Preceptor Epsilon chapter to meet
The Preceptor Epsilon chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Red Lobster, 4500 Central Ave. There will not be a carpool to this meeting. The crowning of Valentine Queen Sonja Chupik will be held.
