Merrill Lynch's Burton
receives new certification
Merrill Lynch recently announced that Scott Burton of Merrill Lynch's Hot Springs office has earned the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst certification awarded by the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts.
"We are proud to congratulate Scott on earning the CDFA certification," Tim Poole, branch manager, said in a news release.
"Scott is committed to helping clients in the Hot Springs area pursue their financial goals by offering personalized wealth management strategies," the release said.
Burton, a resident of Hot Springs, received a bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas and joined Merrill Lynch in 2018.

Employee of the Quarter
Antone Purifoy, a housekeeper for Visit Hot Springs, was named Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter of the year.
Purifoy is "invaluable in meeting the ever-changing requirements for all visitors to the Hot Springs Convention Center and Bank OZK Arena. We salute him for all he does to promote Hot Springs as Arkansas' No. 1 tourism destination," Visit Hot Springs said in a news release.
