Lorraine A. Walton

Lorraine Andrea Walton, age 86, of Hot Springs, died Monday, July 8, 2019.

She was born on Oct. 27, 1932, in Hampton, N.H., the daughter of Robert Minor Ford Sr. and Enid Iola Wyman Ford. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, R.M. Ford Jr. and Kent Ford.

Lorraine was a dedicated mother and grandmother and her love for her family was unsurpassed. She retired from St. Joseph’s Hospital where she was a nurse for many years.

Lorraine was a longtime member of the Hot Springs Seventh-Day Adventist Church. After her retirement, she enjoyed serving lunches to all of the students at the church school.

She is survived by three children, Denise (Tom) Patton, Melissa (David) Rynders and Jon (Katrina McFarland) Walton; eight grandchildren, Brent Rynders, Brian Rynders, Kyle Patton, Kaitlin Patton, Matthew Vesely, Kristopher Vesely, Ewan McFarland-Walton and Aiden McFarland-Walton; three great-grandchildren, Lynnlee Rynders, Erik Vesely and Lorelai Fleuren; numerous nieces, nephews and traveling niece, Bunnie Ford; and long-time best friend, Shana Coffman.

A celebration of Lorraine’s life will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.
