A crew works Wednesday on the $4.65 million, 190-foot water tower going up behind Cornerstone Market Place. The city said concrete work on the 140-foot support pedestal should be completed by the end of the month. It will bear the 3 million-gallon steel bowl the city plans to integrate into its water distribution system by next year.
