ARKADELPHIA -- The Arkadelphia Public School District, in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is sponsoring a free summer lunch program for children 18 and younger this summer.

The meals will be available Monday through Friday through Aug. 2, except for July 4, at these locations:

• Arkadelphia Recreation Center, 2555 Twin Rivers Drive, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• AKC/Third Street Baptist Church, 224 Crawford St., from 11:45 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.

• Carpenter Hill Apartments, 670 S. Sixth St., from 12:10-12:20 p.m.

• Elliston Place Apartments, 222 N. 20th St., from 12:30-1 p.m.

There are no income requirements. All children ages 18 and younger eat free of any charge at any of these locations. All meals must be consumed on site.
