The program is designed to teach teens ages 16 and 17 about the health care industry through observation of various hospital departments, including Emergency Services, Health Information Management, Human Resources, Outpatient Surgery, Cardiac Rehab and Administration.
"NPMC encourages students that are interested in the many facets of health care to experience what it's like to be in a health care environment on a daily basis," said Heather Buckley, NPMC's marketing and volunteer manager.
"We are thrilled to have such an enthusiastic and talented group of students this year," she said. The 2019 program runs through Aug. 2.Society on 06/09/2019
