Hot Springs Toastmasters to meet Saturday at NPMC

Hot Springs Toastmasters will hold its regular weekly club meeting at 8 a.m. Saturday at National Park Medical Center, 1910 Malvern Ave. The club plans to meet all five Saturdays this month.

New officers for the upcoming 2019-20 program year were installed last Saturday. They do not officially take office until that year begins July 1.

All former Toastmasters, as well as interested guests, are welcome. Meetings normally are one hour long. The meetings are held in the east wing of the hospital. Enter from under the portico on that end of the campus.

The officer slate for the 2019-20 program year, elected May 4, will be installed in June, to take office July 1.

Toastmasters is a supportive, inexpensive way to learn speaking and leadership skills. Training resources for speechmaking are part of Toastmaster materials available to members. Toastmasters International's materials and programs also offer leadership development. Meetings may also include an educational presentation.
