St. Mark offersVacation Bible School

St. Mark Baptist Church, 542 Crescent, will hold its Vacation Bible School, "Super Training University," from 6-8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Classes from preschool to adult will be available. Everyone is welcome. For transportation, call 623-3854.

Village Bible Church Women's Summer Bible Studies

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- Village Bible Church, 100 Ponderosa Way, is offering something different this summer, Lightning Bible Studies. Six independent studies will be offered Tuesday mornings beginning Tuesday through Aug. 6 from 10-11:30 a.m. One class will be offered on Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

"Come to all six or as many as you want. All you need is your Bible, pencil and paper. Each study is offered only once. No homework, no workbook and no cost. Stay in the Word this summer by feasting on this delicious Scripture smorgasbord one small savory bite at a time," a news release said.

ā€¢ Aug. 14 -- 10:30 a.m. to noon, with a preview of fall classes from 9-10:30 a.m. Ephesians 6:10-20, "The Armor of God." The leader is Janice Osborne, [email protected].
