Road construction
continues on MLK
Nighttime motorists will need to use caution when traveling the King Expressway, between Central Avenue and Airport Road, as road construction continues overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., each day.
The project, which began June 7, is being completed by the Arkansas Department of Transportation and is anticipated to take 60-90 days. Work includes milling, repaving, drainage and bridge work on the approximately 3-mile span of highway.
Crews will be working in various areas simultaneously, and traffic will be reduced to one lane. Signs will be posted to direct traffic.
