The Lake Hamilton Junior High quiz bowl team won first place at the junior high quiz bowl state championship tournament in Russellville, making them state champions. Team captain Wesley Bonner was named to the all-tournament team and awarded the Most Valuable Player/High-point Player medal. The team finished the season with seven first-place tournament trophies and a 49-2 record. Team members include, from left, Madison Cole, Cade Martin, Wesley Bonner, Jace Joiner, Ethan Shepherd and Harrison Carrouth.
