Dewey H. Culliver, 82, of Hot Springs, passed away March 13, 2019.

He was born Aug. 3, 1936, in Hot Springs, to Vernon and Lillian Culliver. Dewey was a Navy veteran. He loved the horse races and was a fixture at Oaklawn Park. He worked at Craighead Laundry for many years.

He is predeceased by his parents, beloved wife, Sandra Culliver and sister, Betty Culliver Puckett.

Loving survivors include daughter, Kristan (Roger) Sharp and son, Charles Corey (Georgia) Culliver, all of Hot Springs; sister, Linda Culliver Stevens, of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Alex (A.J.) DiMartino, Blake (Sam) Lowe, Stefanie, Lyndsie and Chelsie Culliver; 11 great-grandchildren; and his lifetime best friend, David Holthoff.

A celebration of Dewey's life will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Godwin Cemetery. Brother Roger Sharp will officiate.
