Johnson to host workshop on May 18
Author, radio host, and spiritual presenter Tracey J. Johnson will host the workshop "Open Heart: Encounter With Love," from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Hot Springs Center for Spiritual Oneness.

Johnson hosts the Atlanta-based Women's Spiritual Network Internet radio show, "A Journey Into the Heart," on internet station KBCN.com, broadcast live every Thursday, 6 p.m. Johnson, "a metaphysician with a Ph.D. in philosophy, focuses on recognizing and removing obstacles that separate us from becoming, experiencing and sharing anything less than unconditional love," a news release said.
Johnson will be the featured speaker at the Center for Spiritual Oneness, 300 Oaklawn St., for its Sunday, May 19, service at 10:30 a.m. The topic of her presentation will be "Love is All There Is." Call 501-545-1024 for more information.
Prince of Peace celebrates anniversary
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church will celebrate its 60th anniversary at 9:30 a.m. Sunday with Bishop Mike Girlinghouse presiding.
A pot luck luncheon in Friendship Hall will follow the Service of Holy Communion. All are welcome to attend.
On Friday, the Granolas & Grins ministry handed out snacks to the children getting off the school bus in front of the church as a continuing outreach ministry to the children of the community.
