The Regional Recycling Center, located behind the Solid Waste office at 218 Runyon St., accepts electronic waste for recycling on weekdays from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Materials included in the program are monitors, CPUs (computers), keyboards, VCRs, DVDs, televisions, microwaves, electronic games, cellphones and other small electronic items.

Last week, the Earth Angels of Hot Springs recycled:
• 123 pounds -- Aluminum cans.
• 3,420 pounds -- Newspaper.
• 646 pounds -- Corrugated cardboard.
• 515 pounds -- Plastic No. 1 and No. 2.
• 77,360 pounds -- Yard waste and C.A.P.S.
• 75,920 pounds -- Commercial corrugated cardboard.
A total of 78.99 tons of recyclable materials were kept out of the landfill.
