Supreme Worthy president to address HS Assembly

Hot Springs Assembly No. 251 Social Order of the Beauceant will host Supreme Worthy President Kimberly Burnett on Monday at the Hot Springs Masonic Lodge, 311 W. Grand Ave.

Hot Springs Assembly will also celebrate its 40th birthday and several members will receive their 25-year certificates of membership. Dinner will be at 6 p.m. with the meeting to follow at 7 p.m. Visitors from other assemblies and other states will also be in attendance.

Burnett has traveled from her home in Ohio across the United States since last September and will finish her travels this month. Her theme is "Proud as a Peacock to be a Beauceant Sister!" The symbol is the peacock which represents life after death through Jesus Christ. Scriptures are Matthew 5:16 and Jeremiah 29:11. The flower is the Snowdrop or Galanthus and the primary Philanthropy is the Knight Templar Eye Foundation. All members of this organization are welcome to attend.
