POP Lutheran announces new schedule

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 109 Hobson Ave., will begin a new worship schedule Sunday.

Sunday school will start at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship at 11 a.m.

This Sunday, the congregation will celebrate All Saints Sunday and welcomes its new pastor, the Rev. Kurt Kovanen, who will speak on "Do to Others as You Would Have Them do to You."

A catered "meet and greet" luncheon will follow the service.

Living Waters COGIC plans special service

Living Waters Church of God in Christ will honor musicians Elder Marsalis Weatherspoon and Brother Labuan Lambert at a 3 p.m. service Sunday.

The service will also feature guest speaker Pastor Harold D. Wade Sr., of Little Rock.

World Community Day set for Nov. 8

The annual Church Women United's World Community Day will be Nov. 8 at Christ Lutheran Church, 103 Ponferrada Way.

The annual event unites women and men of all faiths for a common worship experience.

Registration and refreshments will start at 9 a.m. and the program will begin at 9:30 a.m.

The theme of this year's celebration is "The Time is Now to Love."

VBC plans Gold City Quartet concert

Village Bible Church, 100 Ponderosa Way in Hot Springs Village, will host an afternoon concert featuring Gold City Quartet Sunday at 3 p.m.

The concert is free to the public, but a love offering will be taken.
