VHS Employee of the Quarter announced

Visit Hot Springs' Employee of the Quarter for the third quarter of 2019 is housekeeper James Morrison.

"James is invaluable in meeting the ever-changing requirements for all visitors to the Hot Springs Convention Center and Bank OZK Arena. We salute him for all he does to promote Hot Springs as Arkansas' No. 1 tourism destination," Visit Hot Springs said in a news release.

RE/MAX of Hot Springs Village Owner/Broker Clara Nicolosi recently announced the firm is expanding its Nightly Vacation Rental Program with a new division in Hot Springs.

Brookshire announces store managers

Brookshire Grocery Co. has announced store directors and details for the opening of Brookshire's and Spring Market stores in locations that have been acquired from Cranford's.

The Store Directors are Corey Baker, Spring Market store in Redfield; Eddie Medley, Brookshire's Food Store in Hot Springs Village; and Connor Tackett, Brookshire's Food Store in White Hall.

Baker is a 20-year company veteran who has led the Spring Market store in Iowa, La., since its opening in 2016. He worked his way up in the company serving in various leadership roles in Lafayette and Abbeville, Louisiana.

Having led the Brookshire's store in Arkadelphia since 2007, Medley has 33 total years of experience with the company. He has also led stores in Pine Bluff and Malvern.

A native of Arkadelphia, Tackett began his career with Brookshire's in 2010 as a courtesy clerk at the Brookshire's in Arkadelphia. He worked his way up to assistant store manager serving in Arkadelphia. He also served in this role in Hope and Pine Bluff stores.

Official grand opening celebrations will take place following renovations to convert the stores to their new banners. The stores will remain open while renovations take place. Work will be scheduled so that there is minimal impact to customers or their shopping experience.
