Hot Springs police have charged a local man and two women with capital murder for the death of a 58-year-old Hot Springs woman on Friday, saying "this was not a random act" and related to the theft of a car.

April Osborne, 23, and Dillon Orrell, 31, are both charged with capital murder and aggravated residential burglary, both punishable by up to life in prison, and theft by receiving over $2,500, also a felony.

Isabelle Marcial-Talley, 18, is charged with capital murder and aggravated residential burglary.

Hot Springs police Cpl. Joey Williams said in a news release that officers who responded Friday to 208 Linwood in reference to a welfare check found Laura Ann Dickerson, 58, of Hot Springs, dead inside the residence.

"It was also noted that Dickerson's car was missing," the release said.

During the investigation, it was discovered that Osborne, Marcial-Talley and Orrell, all of Hot Springs, "were involved in the homicide and theft of the victim's car."

"It appears that the victim and suspects knew each other and that this was not a random act. The case is still under investigation," the release said.

All three were being held on a zero bond Saturday.
