Hot Springs police are investigating a shooting that occurred at around 5 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Prichard and Audubon streets.

One gunshot victim was transported by private vehicle to CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs with what were believed to be minor injuries, Cpl. Joey Williams said.

Police officers with their weapons drawn could be seen approaching a black Toyota Camry at gunpoint after detaining its three occupants following the shooting at Prichard and Audubon streets.

The Camry's occupants were being questioned at presstime.
