A Hot Springs woman was arrested late Thursday on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, including child endangerment, after she was allegedly found at a local motel with drugs and three small children.

Caitline Ann Hubbard, 27, who lists a Whittington Avenue address, was taken into custody at the El Rancho Motel, 1611 Central Ave., and charged with possession of a controlled substance, meth, and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, each punishable by up to six years in prison, and three misdemeanor counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, each punishable by up to one year in jail.

Hubbard was being held on a $16,500 bond and was set to appear Friday in Garland County District Court.

According to the probable cause affidavit, shortly before 10 p.m., Hot Springs police responded to the El Rancho regarding a welfare check and made contact with Hubbard in one of the rooms. A computer check showed she had warrants for failure to appear and failure to pay so she was taken into custody.

In searching her person, Officer Richard Davis reportedly found a wallet-type bag inside her waistline which contained two glass pipes with meth residue, a loaded syringe with 2 milliliters of what tested positive for meth, and nine capped unused syringes.

Hubbard allegedly stated she had more contraband in her bra, so Sgt. LeeAnn Zaner responded to the scene and in searching her bra found a wood box with marijuana residue that Hubbard admitted was a pipe.

Located inside the motel room were three small children, ages 3, 4 and 6, who were taken into protective custody by Department of Human Services workers who responded to the motel.
